Red Sea Diving Academy
El Mina lies on the seabed near the port of Hurghada. The wreck was built by the Russians (ZSRR) in 1940-1950 for the Navy. A T-43 mine-setter, the ship was 60 meters long and 9 meters wide. El Mina was bombed by Israel in 1969.
The wreckage rests on the side, making it available for penetration. You can peek inside through numerous holes in the hull.
It is a very curious place for diving.
The shipwreck is in good condition, located on the port side, visiting it from the inside is very simple and pleasant.
To this day, when will you dive from the left side of the ship towards the bow.
You can admire the remains of the boat’s equipment, such as anti-aircraft guns and scattered ammunition.
There are four different types of anti-aircraft guns on board and devices for placing and removing mines.
An additional attraction of this place is the very various marine fauna and flora. While diving, you can find many species of colorful fish that have found shelter inside the wreckage.
You can make this dive on El Mina wreck as one of your normal daily dives from our boat also you can take it as extra dive.
In addition, you can make a private dive with a speed boat.

You will get a quick and easy introduction and learn what it takes to explore the underwater world. The instructor gives a briefing before each dive.

Duration: 08:00 – 16:00 Certified divers only Explore the beauty of Wreck El-Mina and be amazed by its wonderful marine life.
One day onboard includes three dives with our dive guides. Lunch break between the dives.
Lunch, Coffee, Tea, Water & other refreshing beverages are included. Vegetarian/Vegan options are also available (please notify staff in advance). Please inform staff before your arrival if you have any allergies we should be aware of.
Two tanks air 12L + weights.

For added security, we may ask you to tell us the room number of your hotel. This acts as a secret code between you and the driver. We may also ask for a phone number in case we need further communication with you.
The Transportation time depends on the distance of your hotel and the number of guests. Nevertheless, this will be decided as soon as your reservation is confirmed. In the morning, pick-up is between 06:45 and 08:45. In the afternoon, drop-off is between 15:00 and 17:00.
You don’t need to pay online! The payment you can make upon arrival in our diving center. We accept credit cards (3.5% tax excluded) or cash (preferred currency is Euro).
